The Excursion
* animals include various types of reptiles, amphibians and arachnids. Q. Why do you show 10 reptiles at a party? A. Keeping the show interactive and informative requires a fine balance between quality time and quantity time. Q. Why does it say "up to" 60 or 40 minutes? A. Every group is different, the "Adventure" is typically 1 hour and the Excursion is typically 40 minutes. Q. What kind of animals do you bring? A. T he Adventure (10 animal show) features a tree frog, tarantula, 3 snakes, 3 lizards, a turtle and a tortoise. The Excursion (7 animal show) features a tree frog, tarantula, 2 snakes, 2 lizards and a tortoise. Q. Can I request to have or not have specific animals at my party? A. Yes you can, some parties prefer not to have a tarantula so we can swap that with an additional frog or other reptile. You may also request a specific type of lizard or snake for your party as well. Q. Can I have my party outside? A. Yes, weather permitting. If its hot, we will need shade for the animals and the kids. Q. How do I book a show? A. Fill out our online party booking form with the date and time you want. We will confirm the availability within a few hours. Q. What happens at my party? A. Your presenter will arrive 10-15 minutes before your start time to set up for the show. When its time to start the show, you gather the children and sit them down. Your presenter will then do a 5 minute introduction explaining important safety rules and what what to expect during the show so that everyone feels comfortable around the animals. Then each animal will have its own introduction, lesson and hands-on time. On average, 5-7 minutes is spent with each animal.
After your presenter is finished showing all the animals, the show is complete. Snakes, lizards, tree frogs, turtles, tortoises and more!
